About Mavengity

Mavengity is a social community designed to help expats, international professionals, and newcomers in Germany build real-life friendships. Moving to a new country can be exciting, but it can also be surprisingly isolating — especially after the first few weeks when the “new city energy” fades and daily routines begin.

Our goal is simple: make meeting people feel easy, natural, and low-pressure. Instead of large networking events or overwhelming parties, we focus on small-group activities where conversations happen organically and people can actually get to know each other.

Most of our members are internationals living in Germany — people who moved for work, studies, or a new chapter in life — but locals who enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds are welcome too.

How Mavengity works

We organize weekly meetups across different formats: coffee walks, board game nights, casual brunches, coworking sessions, and small local outings. Groups are intentionally kept small (typically 6–12 people) so that everyone has space to talk and nobody feels lost in a crowd.

Each event is hosted by a community organizer who helps break the ice, introduce people, and keep the atmosphere comfortable — especially for newcomers attending alone.

Our principles

Who joins Mavengity?

Our community includes engineers, designers, researchers, freelancers, students, remote workers, and people who simply want a healthier social life while living abroad. Some members have lived in Germany for years, others just arrived last month — everyone starts somewhere.

Whether you’re new to Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, or just looking to expand your circle, Mavengity exists to make that first step easier.
